Description Ben Schwartz 2006-12-16 12:46:14 UTC
Postfish is a super-cool tool for real-time and streaming audio effects, written by Monty of Ogg Vorbis fame. It includes the usual sorts of effects, as well as incredible "declip" and "deverb".

It has never been released, and is currently available only from SVN. There are no docs. This ebuild builds Postfish from the SVN. I have run it and found it fully functional and stable.

Perhaps this ebuild will spread the word about Postfish so that it actually gets released.

ebuild for "media-sound/postfish-svn"

Ebuild also requires a patch to get directories right for building in portage.

We are not adding live svn stuff into the tree, sorry. Feel free to attach an ebuild for a SVN snapshot or a regular release.
Comment 4 Ben Schwartz 2006-12-16 12:55:03 UTC
I apologize if I wasn't clear; I had no intention that this would go in the tree. I just hope the next guy who wants to run postfish on gentoo can find the ebuild here instead of writing his own.

You are amazingly fast.

Oh, OK... Feel free to reopen this once they start releasing stuff, meanwhile, some overlay is better suited for such ebuilds.

Thanks anyway!
