portage mal descargado, mi md5 es distinto del numero entregado en el archivo
ftp://mirrors.localhost.net.ar/pub/mirrors/gentoo/releases/snapshots/2006.1/portage-2006.1.tar.bz2

maybe you have a checksum error ?

portage bad download, my number in portage-2006.1.tar.bz2.DIGESTS is different of number in console after run md5sum portage-2006.1.tar.bz2.DIGESTS
