I have checked the kernel and all looks right to me, the sound card works well in the gui and I cant see any problems. I think the problem must be in the media-sound/alsa-driver-1.0.14_rc1 build. Can you help me.

Either use the in-kernel drivers or alsa-driver; you can't use both.
