As root hp-toolbox starts fine, but a user I get this: $ hp-toolbox HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 0.9.7) HP Device Manager ver. 6.0 Copyright (c) 2003-5 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, LP This software comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. Did you downgrade it, or? Your config file in invalid, not much of a bug.
I moved from ~x86 to x86 some weeks ago. But which config file do you refer to? /etc/fonts/conf.d/80-delicious.conf is just a warning, not really a problem. I removed /usr/qt/3/etc/settings/qt_plugins_3.3rc now with the result that the "QSettings..." line disappered but hp-toolbox still fails to start. So which config file is next? 0.9.7 is no longer in portage, the new version should work :)
