Not a major problem, but app-text/ghostscript-gpl-8.54 doesn't emerge, citing a collision protection problem with (i believe) its own files: existing file /usr/libexec/cups/filter/pstoraster is not owned by this package existing file /usr/libexec/cups/filter/pstopxl is not owned by this package These are symlinks to /usr/lib/cups.. rather than /usr/libexec/cups.. and an `equery belongs' states that these symlinks do not belong to any package, but that the files pointed to belong to ghostscript-gpl. I am working round this by deleting the symlinks before remerging (I realise I could also turn collision_protect off in FEATURES.)

(In reply to comment #1) > see cups post install einfo elog information > Thanks, it's sorted now. Had a couple of other pkgs with similar probs, just deleted the symlinks.
