Might be an upstream bug in Kernel-Config for IPSec. When enabling CONFIG_KLIPS_ALG for a monolothic Kernel (CONFIG_MODULES is not set) building the kernel will fail: In file included from /usr/src/linux-2.4.32-gentoo-r7/include/openswan/ipsec_rcv.h:40, from ipsec_alg.c:55: /usr/src/linux-2.4.32-gentoo-r7/include/linux/module.h:22:34: linux/modversions.h: No such file or directory make[2]: *** [ipsec_alg.o] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.32-gentoo-r7/net/ipsec' make[1]: *** [_subdir_ipsec] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.32-gentoo-r7/net' make: *** [_dir_net] Error 2 Should be fixed with a patch including a appropriate dependency for Kernel-Config.
I am no longer maintaining this.
sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.4* is no longer in portage. please try gentoo-sources-2.6* or vanilla-sources-2.4*.
