I re-emerged jpilot (after syncing the tree). This is jpilot-0.99.7-r1 The plugin menu is no longer present. If I emerge a specific jpilot plugin, I get the menu and the plugin, but the ones included with jpilot (Expense, keyring, and synctime) are still missing. They are built (and the files are present in /usr/lib If I do mkdir -P /usr/lib/jpilot/plugins ln -s /usr/lib/libkeyring.la /usr/lib/jpilot/plugins/libkeyring.la ln -s /usr/lib/libkeyring.so /usr/lib/jpilot/plugins/libkeyring.so then the keyring plugin is present again. Has something changed in the jpilot ebuild recently or in the way the ebuild is allowed to write to /usr/lib? It is odd since this is a fairly old ebuild that I have used for a while.
This is fixed in 0.99.9.
