Description M Cordingley 2006-12-05 16:43:24 UTC
With the "vorbis" use-flag enabled, GnomeBaker 0.5.1 (latest in stable) fails to burn audio CD's from ogg vorbis files, complaining that, "There is no element present to handle the stream's mime type application/ogg."

Portage 2.1.1-r2 (default-linux/x86/2006.0, gcc-4.1.1, glibc-2.4-r4, 2.6.18-gent oo-r2 i686)

Comment 1 cburroughs 2007-02-04 00:43:52 UTC
On bugday I tried to reproduce this. I used 0.5.1-r2 and was able to burn several ogg vorbis files to an audio CD successfully.
Comment 2 M Cordingley 2007-02-07 16:37:08 UTC
I just reemerged gnomebaker today and tried to burn some oggs, but still got the same old error. Is it possible that there's a break in some dep? Where/how can I find more information that would be useful in reproducing this bug?
Comment 3 M Cordingley 2007-02-07 17:05:06 UTC
Upgrading to 0.6.1 seems to fix this
Comment 4 Dieter Verfaillie 2007-05-10 21:58:23 UTC
>Where/how can I find more information

What does "gst-inspect-0.8 vorbis" say? (run with the same account you're having trouble with)

Do you get the same after running gst-register-0.8? (again with the same account you're having trouble with)
Comment 5 Dieter Verfaillie 2007-05-10 22:05:40 UTC
To clarify myself, I suspect the "There is no
element present to handle the stream's mime type application/ogg." error came from an incomplete/corrupted gstreamer 0.8 plugin registry (possibly in your homedir), hence my (and Chris') inability to reproduce this bug.
Comment 6 Luis Medinas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-08-24 03:05:39 UTC
gnomebaker 0.6.x got this bug fixed. So Closing the bug
Thanks
