I tried the betas and pres to net-im/psi-0.11. All of them compiled fine, but none of them started correctly. When i disable jingle, anything runs fine. I created an ebuild for the latest pre with additional 'jingle'-Use-Flag, so everyone can turn jingle-support off.

Hi! After some time, I finally updated psi ebuild - version to bump to today's snapshot (should be more fixed than beta4 ;) ). - jingle finally works for me - jingle is in USE flag, so can be turned on/off - added plugins support - more... Please check, have you problems are resolved and if not - feel free to reopen this bug. Regards, Przemek
as for me Psi was started only after updating sys-libs/glibc up to version 2.5 i'm don't test voice calls - in my roster no contacts with psi-jingle
