no idea. Can you just use a 2.6 kernel or FEATURES=-sandbox please?

Sorry Stefan but this machine is a server and I can't migrate to a 2.6 kernel: that would be too much work for nothing really interesting.

Here is what I get with the FEATUREs=-sandbox (again it's a translation of the french messages I get)

no idea. In the new version 2.05 I have added a check for the 2.4 kernel to die out telling 

    kernel_is 2 4 && die "kernel 2.4 is not supported"
