Try to remove your .gaim after make a backup of it Good luck!
Pacho reminds me that gaim work fine with msn up to I quit a contact from the allow users list (Tools -> Privacy -> Allow only followin users). Gaim crashes when I remove a contact from that list, generally it works again when I start gaim again (and the contact which I've deleted is in the list. But sometimes it start crashing allways I connect to msn up to I delete .gaim file. I attach a "corrupted" .gaim.

Have you tried to emerge gaim-2.0-beta5, it works fine for me. May be an upstream bug :-/ Good luck! PD: Backup your .gaim and remove it before launch gaim2.x
Upstream bug. See http://gaim.sourceforge.net/index.php?id=170
Closing as upstream as there are multiple bugs filed there, which I will be monitoring.
