For some reason, xinetd complains about unreadable server_args statements in the config files of rexec, rlogin, rsh in /etc/xinetd.d/ on my machine: Feb 14 22:20:56 [xinetd] Error parsing attribute server_args - DISABLING SERVICE [line=9] Feb 14 22:20:56 [xinetd] attribute server_args expects at least 1 value and none were given. [line=9] You can fix that by commenting out the server_args line. Other netkit packages may also be concerned.
xinetd chef?
not quite sure why the hell you'd even want to use rsh, rexec, or rlogin ;) fixed in cvs: http://cvs.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/gentoo-x86/net-misc/netkit-rsh/files/rexec.xinetd.diff?r1=1.1&r2=1.2 http://cvs.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/gentoo-x86/net-misc/netkit-rsh/files/rlogin.xinetd.diff?r1=1.1&r2=1.2 http://cvs.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/gentoo-x86/net-misc/netkit-rsh/files/rsh.xinetd.diff?r1=1.1&r2=1.2
