# denyhosts --purge
Error reading file: denyhosts.cfg
[Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'denyhosts.cfg'

we must be in the /etc/ and have a denyhost.cfg in order to make this work

afaict you should be taking this one upstream.

Actually you need to start it like this:

denyhosts --purge -c /etc/denyhosts.conf
