Someone retry with 5.11.0... It successfully emerged here with USE="sbcl", USE="clisp" is unusable, b/c of bug #161041.

So you're saying it works with "clisp"? Have you tried other lisps, as that's what your bug is about :)

sci-libs/maxima-5.14.0 builds cleanly with both USE="clisp" and USE="-clisp" on ppc.
