Description Thomas Merkel 2006-11-30 12:46:13 UTC
I'm using keychain (version 2.6.2) under Mac OSX Tiger (10.4.8) with OpenSSH (4.2p1). There i have a problem with the SSH_AUTH_SOCK. If i start the keychain with:
--snip ~/.bash_profile --
keychain id_rsa
. ~/.keychain/$HOSTNAME-sh
--snip--

under the iTerm (/bin/bash) i get the following warning:

--snip--
KeyChain 2.6.2; http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/keychain/
Copyright 2002-2004 Gentoo Foundation; Distributed under the GPL

 * Warning: SSH_AUTH_SOCK in environment is invalid; ignoring it
 * Found existing ssh-agent (627)
 * Known ssh key: /Users/drscream/.ssh/id_rsa
--snip--

It looks like the same error i have found in the gentoo forum: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=353448
But the problem is I cannot restart X because i using "aqua" from Mac OSX :)

Are you using Gentoo for Mac OS X, or Gentoo/Alt:Prefix on Mac OS X?

(post your emerge --info)
