Description Wolf Giesen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-29 23:16:11 UTC
Anope backs up its databases at midnight by default. That only works if there's a accessible 'backups' directory where the databases are.

The ebuild should thus create that directory ('/opt/anope/data/backups').

BTW: Why is this thing under /opt?

I plan to rewrite the ebuild to get it out of /opt, and at the same time creating the backups directory.
It wont be the next few days, since I'm busy moving, but I'll get it done :-)

If you could make sure that /opt/anope/data/services.conf is created somewhere also that would be groovy. The ebuild says to edit it, but it was not even created in the first place to edit.
