I have tried to remove the libghttp dependency from orpheus. Configure gives this information: checking for ghttp_request_new in -lghttp... no configure: warning: libghttp not found - the support for CDDB is be disabled The program compiles and works, so the libghttp dependency can be removed and the program can be avoided from removal.

I'm not sure that libghttp has to be removed with GNOME-1.x, as it depends only on libc. I have raised this concern on bug 154102
If libghttp remains, orpheus could also grow a cddb USE flag upon which the dependency on libghttp depends on. I hear from aballier that this needs some configure.in patching
Note that compnerd has removed libghttp from package.mask, so libghttp can be used again. So I believe orpheus can be taken out of p.mask as well if compnerd is notified appropriately :)
Removed from pmask, cddb use flag added, 1.6 bumped ;)
