Description Steve Yin 2006-11-24 19:28:57 UTC
In current genkernel-3.4.4 is still using oldest version of devicemapper and lvm2. which can not be build with selinux profile.

while the stable version of device-mapper in portage is device-mapper-1.02.10-r1 and lvm2-2.02.06, if I adjust the version in genkernel.conf, this baby just compiled fine and worked fine.

So I request to upgrade these package to the stable version in portage.

No.

We don't touch the versions in *any* genkernel version. They're bumped along wiht genkernel since they're tested along with the genkernel version. Use 3.4.5, instead.
