For several days I can run the applications only during several seconds after starting X-server. Afterwards I get
Sorry, sent too early. Continuing: I get: Floating point exception and dmesg contains entries like: opera[9421] trap divide error rip:f7a0d1bd rsp:ff906580 error:0 skype[9429] trap divide error rip:851bccd rsp:fff17ab0 error:0 Affected applications include opera, xine, gxine, skype, amarok, k3b, kile (maybe several more) but not gmplayer or gimp. Restarting X allows me to start something again for limited time. I cannot pinpoint what exactly I did that started this problem. I was able to pinpoint what exactly causes this error to happen. After X starts up I use xrandr to change resolution down to 800x600 (my main monitor is broken). After that I get these errors.
Fun stuff :) Please attach xorg.conf and a Xorg.0.log from a session where this issue is experienced. Re-open the bug once you've done this.
