Umm... well, since people seem to be marking it stable without waiting for me to say anything... sure, go for it... even though it's broken as hell with USE="gnome"...

Nah... it's not a regression.  USE="gnome" is broken in the current stable, too.  It broke somewhere around Gnome 2.12 and I haven't had the time to look into it and submit a patch upstream.

Feel free to stable it.
