Description Thomas Heinz 2006-11-21 03:45:06 UTC
Attached you find a small latex example and a bibliography. Typing C-c C-c RET in emacs executes latex and reports unresolved citations. Pressing C-c C-c RET again starts xdvi instead of running bibtex. Is this fault on the Gentoo side, upstream or a configuration problem?

No problems here. Attach your .emacs file please. And by the way, please don't attach tarballs.

Add

(setq TeX-parse-self t)

to your .emacs file and try again please.

Thanks Christian. Comment #3 did the trick.

Maybe this is a good idea for the default config too. Any objections from emacs and/or text-markup?
