Description Marijn Schouten (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-20 08:32:04 UTC
amarok-1.4.4 lost my collection and it wouldn't rescan. Downgrading to 1.4.3-r1 has brought it back.

me too. It's since I update to mysql5, but also amarok 1.4.3-r1 dosn't work for me.
Comment 3 Greg Watson (linuxkrn) 2006-11-27 19:56:44 UTC
This is a bug in amarok as it has issues with mysql5 currently. As of tonight, they still have problems with SVN versions too. So it may be a while before upstream has a fix for this.
Comment 4 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-22 20:47:27 UTC
Please report upstream.
Comment 5 Greg Watson (linuxkrn) 2007-02-07 04:30:37 UTC
There is a fix that worked for me, as this is really a mysql upgrade issue wanted to post the link to the fix here as it might be missed otherwise.
