Description David Watzke 2006-11-18 11:16:12 UTC
QGameX is an advanced tool for launching games in a separate X11 session written in C++ (Qt 4).

QGameX has following per-profile options:
* Apply Xmodmap settings (useful for Logitech mice)
* Switch keyboard map (e.g. to "us", many games require this)
* Use non-standard xorg.conf file
* Select specific screen number
* Execute other commands before launching the game (makes graphic card overclocking easy)

and NVIDIA specific options:
* Fullscreeen antialiasing mode
* Anisotropic texture filtering mode
* Enabling sync to vblank
* Enabling DOOM3 SLI mode

Compiles and works smoothly.
There is already an analogue of this program in portage tree (games-util/xgame), but why not to add qgamex into portage tree too?
