Description Patrick De Pinguin 2006-11-17 10:13:45 UTC
While testing some of my matlab scripts using GNU Octave, I came across errors due to the function ind2sub. Apparently, the Octave ind2sub implementation is different from the Matlab one.

There exists a package matcompat, which includes some .m-files that
provide the matlab implementation of certain functions, for use in Octave.

I was wondering if there is any chance that this package be included in
gentoo portage? Either as a separate ebuild, either with the Octave ebuild.

Thank you!

Apparently, after some more research and if I understood correctly, the package matcompat is the predecessor of octave-forge... Sorry to have bothered.
