Description Eike Hein 2006-11-17 09:35:11 UTC
I'd like to see Konversation 1.0.1 stabilized on all architectures. It's a robust release deserving of its name; there have been no significant upstream problem report since it was published. Compared to the currently-stable 0.19, it fixes a large number of bugs and introduces no known regressions. Unlike 0.19 it also compiles with gcc 4.1 (and current 4.2 snapshots) out of the box, so when 0.19 is removed from the tree, that patch can be dropped.

x86:

1) emerge fine

(some warnings in configure though:

/usr/share/aclocal/pth.m4:43: warning: underquoted definition of _AC_PTH_ERROR
  run info '(automake)Extending aclocal'
    or see http://sources.redhat.com/automake/automake.html#Extending-aclocal
    /usr/share/aclocal/pth.m4:55: warning: underquoted definition of _AC_PTH_VERBOSE
    /usr/share/aclocal/pth.m4:61: warning: underquoted definition of AC_CHECK_PTH

)
2) passes collision-tests
3) works
