librep, rep-gtk, and sawfish are their own separate project. I use them without GNOME. Please don't mask because of the GNOME thing.

I'm actually using sawfish with gnome2 (no other stupid window manager can be configured how I like it).
I suppose just in case any more "user testimonials" are required, I have been using sawfish (without GNOME of any sort) for years, and would certainly prefer not to have to maintain the ebuilds in my overlay. I just noticed the mask tonight and was going to file a bug myself when I found one had already been submitted.
Fixed now. <x11-libs/rep-gtk-0.18 =x11-wm/sawfish-1.0.1-r6 masked as those require gnome-1* stuff.
