/etc/conf.d/metalog

METALOG_OPTS= works for "" and "-s" but not with "-a" or "--async". Log data comes only into log files when metalog is stopped or restarted.

/etc/init.d/metalog buffer hast the same effect: Data comes out as soon as unbuffered is set.

Same problem on x86.

umm, ok ?  the behavior you're describing is correct
