Upgrading to mpg123-0.61 breaks playback on 48000KHz soundcards, below is the verbose output from the application:

I have confirmed that the application works up to version mpg123-059s-r11 so this may narrow down the search to the patchset bringing it to version 0.61.

Below is my emerge --info: (Please note that I installed mpg123-0.59s-r11 with USE="-nas" because that version gave an error about failing to connect to a NAS server)
