A new version of KsetiWatch was released yesterday which fixes that stupid segfault that 
happens when KSetiWatch was closed by the kde session manager. It would be worth it just for 
that but there some other features added too.

I am no good at making ebuilds but I will give it a shot and if it works out I will attach it.

Done. Compiled fine, starts up, I am no SETI@home user.
