Description Tavis Ormandy (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-13 14:24:17 UTC
Sorry to require another bump so soon after the last one, but another security issue affects fvwm. A malicious user can create a directory that causes fvwm-menu-directory to spit out fvwm commands that will be executed by fvwm. By tricking a user to browse a directory another user controls, he can execute arbitrary commands as the fvwm user.

PLease test and mark stable fvwm-2.5.18-r1.

/me needs some more training with Xnest.

Other than me screwing up my KDE session this emerges and works fine on amd64.

amd64 done. seems to be stable on ia64 already, you probably want to remove yourself from CC
