Calc hangs, seemingly randomly after a short period of use (less than 5 minutes), but always when you do 'something' e.g. closing the help dialog, saving a document, and adjusting a column width. Please file this upstream, we use the official binaries, so there is not a lot we can do here otherwise: http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/ You might try OOo 2.0.4 first though to avoid to file already fixed bugs
