1. Upstream is stale with no new releases since January, including not fixing a security issue. 2. Present state of the package from upstream requires you to edit most of the scripts for your network before they are usable. 3. After using the scripts to convert your system to LDAP, there is no need for the package. Ergo it is more suitable for a sysadmin to just throw into their homedir, use once, and delete afterwards.
Treecleaner policy is now to get maintainers to remove their own packages. Grant, adding you to CC as you're in metadata.xml.
