sync and mirror eselect modules could be quite handy, especially if eselect is going to become the central place to configure object selections. I'll start learning to write them now, but I've hardly touched python let alone written eselect modules so if someone beats me to it, that's great :)
eselect isn't written in Python. Mike: shall we take this is on for 1.2.x branch?
Hmm, I assume he's talking about doing something equivalent to mirrorselect? Does that grab stuff from a text file on www.g.o? Or an xml file? If it's just a plain text list of urls, I think it wouldn't be too hard for us to take it on, but if it's XML... I don't wanna go there w/ bash.
