Description Gregory K. Ruiz-Ade 2003-02-10 21:43:46 UTC
This error happens while trying to "emerge -u --deep world" or "emerge -u kdeedu", during the
make process:

Expected Results:
Successful emerge.

"emerge -u --deep world" was run instead of "emerge -u world" because I do this every so
often to catch updates to packages that aren't explicitly listed in my world file or caught as
dependancies by other packages in the world file that may not require updating themselves.
Comment 1 Dan Armak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-11 16:15:00 UTC
What version of libxml2 do you have?
Comment 2 Gregory K. Ruiz-Ade 2003-02-11 16:26:25 UTC
I have libxml-1.8.17-r2 installed.
Comment 3 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-12 07:45:59 UTC
seems to be the same as bug #15245, please also report your version of
libxml2 (not libxml ;)
Comment 4 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-23 08:47:41 UTC
Do you still have this problem? Else we'll close it
Comment 5 Gregory K. Ruiz-Ade 2003-04-23 14:17:15 UTC
This has become a non-issue since the current version of kdeedu has changed; 3.1.1 and later
don't have this problem.
Comment 6 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-23 15:02:30 UTC
I'm resolving this as WONTFIX. If someone has problems with it: scream
