Description Tom Wesley 2006-11-09 15:04:34 UTC
The scroll bar to the right of the mail list cannot be dragged. It does update to reflect the current position in the mail folder, but appears to be protected from input.

And here I thought I'm the only one having the problem.
Is it new for you, or it didn't happen with earlier versions? I haven't been able to drag the mail listing ETable for ages via the scrollbar in Gentoo (worked fine in Ubuntu when I had to use it on a temporary laptop during GUADEC).

in the future, please let us know if you have also filed upstream.

This works fine for me.

Can you try without -Os?

Thanks.

Will do; sorry about that.

I recompiled just evolution without -Os with no improvement. Would I need to rebuild anything else?

Comment 5 John N. Laliberte (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-10 10:11:55 UTC
maybe i'm not talking about the same scrollbar as you :)

can you take a screenshot and draw an arrow to the one that doesn't work?

that would help me to reproduce this.

thanks!

This problem appears to have fixed by updating to evolution-2.8.2.1.

Good news then... we can close the bug if you notice it still isn't fixed please reopen.
