Description Richard Ash 2006-11-03 13:38:23 UTC
A new snapshot now that upstream 2.1 is merged into SVN. Fixes background rendering of previews for me, rest seems to work fine.
I haven't yet tried to add external FFMPEG support, although it is now supposed to be possible according to the SVN log.
There is some extra magic to correctly set --enable-x86 argument to ./configure when building on x86.
OpenGL acceleration is enabled if cinelerra's configure thinks it is available - no explicit option yet.
libsndfile is added to the dependancies because it is checked for as a mandatory part of the build.

Hu?
Have you noticed that there is a snapshot in the tree that has been made after the 2.1 merge ? cinelerra-cvs-20061020.ebuild

I cannot find any option that refers to --enable-x86, and by the way, what should it fix ? Is it a check that you added in this snapshot ?

Also, there is an opengl check, that is set in the current ebuild.

libsndfile is a dependency of flac, which is stated in cinelerra ebuild, but as it is preferable to set it explicitly rather than depending on flac dependencies; next cinelerra cvs snapshot ebuild will have this dependency.

For now, the only reason I can see to bump yet another cin cvs snapshot is that the current snapshot has a small change in the interface : merge "copy'n'paste" and "drag'n'drop", that has been reverted because some people really did not like it.
pmdumuid stated on cin cvs ml "Please test, and make packages after possibl bugs have settled.." after commiting a change, so we'll have to wait a little bit before making a new snapshot.

Regards,

Alexis.
