x11-drivers/xf86-video-mga in version 1.4.3 or 1.4.4 does not work on my MGA G550 AGP. I have to stay with 1.4.2 so far. Sorry took a while but after testing 1.4.5 I finally posted this bug upstream. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9261 But should we really mark this bug as resolved (as it is not yet)?
The resolution is Upstream, since we're waiting on them to fix it :)
