The Crux theme I've used for years and grown to love has turned very ugly in 2.8: the scrollbars and selection backgrounds are now a putrid purple colour and the scrollbars have lost their ridges. This being a cosmetic change, it may not be a bug and the only similar complaint I could find was this: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364750 but I can't believe the ridges would be dropped even if the colour change was deliberate.
