A rather severe memleak was identified in audacious 1.2.0 and 1.1.2 that only appears to trigger on KDE and other non-Gnome environments. With every VT/background change, the complete background image is leaked. Over time, this can exhaust the memory on the machine. Previous XMMS users argue that the alternative player should be in a usable state, and I can't help but agree. Discussed this with the PPC security contact (Tobias Scherbaum a.k.a. dertobi123), this is a local DoS and should be assigned to security. Doing so.
