Created attachment 102349 [details, diff] Adds missing deps to ebuild This patch should add all necessary deps.
(In reply to comment #1) > Created an attachment (id=102349) [edit] > Adds missing deps to ebuild > > This patch should add all necessary deps. Thanks - want to maintain it? Since the start of DVB-T here I can't test it any more.
I also don't have analog TV. But why don't you provide the ebuild with one (reworked) dvb-patch.
(In reply to comment #3) > I also don't have analog TV. But why don't you provide the ebuild with one > (reworked) dvb-patch. > No, you misunderstood me - I still have an analog TV card, but no input signal for it available.
I think this is not yet fixed. And I have no analog-devices and no analog-input around. But you can combine a DVB-Receiver with an analog-capture card as the DVB-receiver reinsert the videotext into its modulated output.
(In reply to comment #5) > I think this is not yet fixed. Could you elaborate a bit? The bug was about missing dependencies, the dependencies were added. > And I have no analog-devices and no analog-input around. > But you can combine a DVB-Receiver with an analog-capture card as the > DVB-receiver reinsert the videotext into its modulated output. Thanks for the good ideas, but: - I have no DVB receiver, I use an analog satellite receiver with nothing but a SCART output for watching TV. - Even if it would be possible to plug it in my old analog TV card, there are still several meters and a very massive wall between my living room and the room into which my old noisy linux box was banned. So, maybe it's time to ask on -dev who wants to maintain this.

Perhaps you did forget the repoman commit - part of your fixing. > > And I have no analog-devices and no analog-input around. > > But you can combine a DVB-Receiver with an analog-capture card as the > > DVB-receiver reinsert the videotext into its modulated output. > > Thanks for the good ideas, but: > > - I have no DVB receiver, I use an analog satellite receiver with nothing but a > SCART output for watching TV. > - Even if it would be possible to plug it in my old analog TV card, there are > still several meters and a very massive wall between my living room and the > room into which my old noisy linux box was banned. > > So, maybe it's time to ask on -dev who wants to maintain this. > It also should work with analog sat-receivers if you connect their output to a tv-card. DVB-T I don't know.

Ooopsie. Committed, now it should be OK to close this bug.
