Please test eselect-whois and re-keyword whois and knetscan (together with eselect-whois) asap. Thanks.
Comment 1 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-27 10:38:30 UTC
BSD is done.
AMD64 has eselect-whois and whois keyworded, but not knetscan (yet).

What about the other whois clients (like jwhois, bsdwhois, bwwhois, and gwhois), are they going to be integrated into this?

sorry, but which part of "i dont want that eselect cruft added to whois/jwhois" was confusing ?
Comment 5 nixnut (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-29 01:03:12 UTC
rekeyword what version of whois exactly?
!<net-misc/whois-4.7.19-r1, but where is -r1?
Comment 6 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2006-10-29 01:07:29 UTC
there is no longer a version to be re-KEYWORDED

this needs to be discussed first before bugging arch teams
Comment 7 nixnut (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-29 01:12:29 UTC
ok, removing ppc from cc for now then
Comment 8 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-29 02:56:35 UTC
net-analyzer/knetscan-1.0-r2 has borked dependencies now...
