Description Lukas Miczka 2006-10-26 12:26:35 UTC
When I copy some files (from ext3 or ntfs file system) I get corrupted files and cannot use them on other machines (with Windows OS for example)
When I masked udev-103 and emerged udev-100-r2 I don't have corrypted files issue

I can post my emerge info but I think it won't help

I check this in many ways and udev-103 is the problem because last week when I had 100-r2 I didn't have such a problems but today when I had to copy some files with my iRiver H320 to windows machine I get only corrupted files...

Pretty sure this has nothing to do w/ udev. Set RC_COLDPLUG="no" in /etc/conf.d/rc and reboot if it makes any difference.

Otherwise, absolutely no info here to debug the issue; like relevant HW info, kernel .config and kernel version, dmesg snip or whatever so that we see what driver are you using for USB, etc. etc. Can't guess, sorry.
