Summary says it all I guess. Type in devwiki.gentoo.org in your browser and you get the www.g.o frontpage.
We had an exploitable version of tikiwiki out and nobody was willing to step forward at the time to manage it. The quickest and easiest way to deal with the security issue was to just disable the vhost config for which (which in turn made it go to www.g.o). Tikiwiki has a terrible history of being exploitable and I'm fairly nervous about having it online w/o someone to watch over it vigarously.
I rather wanted to use it for devrel.. but I understand the security concern of course. Guess I need to find some other solution for devrel or force somebody to step up for maintaining the wiki :)
Would it be possible for devwiki to be temporarily re-enabled with something like http auth to semi-secure it for those of us who need to retrieve data we had stored in it?
AFAIK we have a new wiki. Or is that one infra-only?
Ramareth: can we get the old wiki online as read-only just for people to extract for now, then kill it?
The only people interested in this are now retired. I guess it can be closed?
