Dare I ask if any progress will be made on this? There are some major feature enhancements in this version (and the newer one, which is available at nanoblogger's website) which I'd like to take advantage of.

The old ebuild itself doesn't work properly when installing nanoblogger 3.3.

well, ka0ttic is MIA, so if anyone would like to step up ...
Comment 4 Devin Heckman 2007-03-08 22:13:11 UTC
I don't exactly know the entire process (i.e. being a package mantainer), but I'd be glad to step up to bump this port. I worked on it a bit last night before all-subduing sleep came over me.

If I pound at an ebuild for a bit and (pursuant to what documentation I read) come up with one, can I just attach it here?
Comment 5 Devin Heckman 2007-03-08 22:18:22 UTC
Erm, sorry about the "port" mis-speak... FreeBSD terminology has been seared into my brain.
Comment 6 Devin Heckman 2007-03-09 01:35:10 UTC
This bug may as well be removed, with the filing of bug #170046.

nanoblogger-3.3.ebuild

Alright. I've uploaded a new ebuild which reflects the most current release of nanoblogger. Sorry for the duplicate, though perhaps this warrants a change in summary.

Also, I don't know if it's normal for one to re-upload if the other is marked duplicate, or just to link to the other bug's attachment. For ease, and since the ebuild is small, I've re-uploaded.

Please post a diff.

nanoblogger 3.2.3->3.3 diff

I'm not sure if this is in the format you want, but here's the diff between the 3.2.3 and 3.3 ebuilds. I didn't update the header as necessary (I am rather sure this isn't my place).

Please let me know if you want me to pass any options to diff or do something differently.
Comment 11 Renat Lumpau (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-06-03 19:48:35 UTC
done. In the future, diff -up is preferable :)
