Description Jurek Bartuszek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-22 14:41:56 UTC
Arch teams, please mark all ebuilds in dev-dotnet/xsp stable. This does not apply to amd64 in xsp-1.0.8.ebuild.

No bugs regarding those releases have been reported for a long time and the ebuilds are in the tree for over a year now.

Thanks!
Comment 1 Chris White (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-22 23:02:12 UTC
mm, why all ebuilds, shouldn't just marking 1.1.10, which has been in the tree for a month now be sufficient?
Comment 2 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2006-10-23 06:15:44 UTC
xsp-1.0.8
1. emerges on x86, please note:
>>> Unpacking xsp-1.0.8.tar.gz to /var/tmp/portage/xsp-1.0.8/work
configure.in:4: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.8.5,
configure.in:4: but the definition used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
configure.in:4: comes from Automake 1.8.3. You should recreate
configure.in:4: aclocal.m4 with aclocal and run automake again.

2. passes collision test
3. daemon starts

xsp-1.0.9
1. emerges on x86, please note:
>>> Unpacking xsp-1.0.9.tar.gz to /var/tmp/portage/xsp-1.0.9/work
configure.in:4: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.9.6,
configure.in:4: but the definition used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
configure.in:4: comes from Automake 1.9.5. You should recreate
configure.in:4: aclocal.m4 with aclocal and run automake again.

2. passes collision test
3. daemon starts

xsp-1.1.10
1. emerges on x86
2. passes collision test
3. also seems to work...

Comment 5 Chris White (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-23 13:10:35 UTC
couple of things here:

The test root dir is /usr/share/doc/xsp/test or something when it's actually supposed to be /usr/lib/xsp/test

The executable should be in /usr/lib/xsp/, but the init.d script is looking for it in /usr/lib/mono/1.0/xsp.exe
Comment 6 Jurek Bartuszek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-23 14:28:34 UTC
Ok, a revision bump is on it's way to the tree, so I'll mark this bug Resolved LATER and reopen it when appropriate. Thanks for testing and sorry for bothering you, folks!
Comment 7 Jurek Bartuszek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-12 14:21:22 UTC
xsp-1.1.10 is now removed from the tree. Please mark this bug respectively. Thanks!
Comment 8 Michael Weyershäuser 2006-11-14 02:31:55 UTC
Uhm, huh? What exactly do you want us to do?
Comment 9 Jurek Bartuszek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-14 02:40:45 UTC
Erm, close the bug with RESOLVED FIXED or INVALID or WONTFIX or whatever. I am simply not sure which one to choose, sorry ;-) Thanks!
Comment 10 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-14 02:56:07 UTC
just choose anything then, no?
Comment 11 Michael Weyershäuser 2006-11-14 03:02:10 UTC
As it is permanently resolved I wouldn't close it with "RESOLVED LATER", but that's just my personal opinion. Maybe blubb wants to go back in time later this afternoon with his time machine to reopen and fix this bug, so it might be appropriate ;)
Comment 12 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-11-17 17:17:11 UTC
Since this bug is closed, marking it closed to get it off the ppc bug list.
