Ah yes the good old "Compile failed, press return" problem. I've fixed this in CVS, thanks! As for the pkg-config error, I thought that either gtk or glib would pull this in, but I suppose in the case where those were installed via binary packages, this would not be the case. I have added it to the DEPEND list. Changes should be out in the mirrors in the next 1-2 hours. Thanks for reporting this!
