The Notifcation Appltet crashes (gnome-applet 2.2.0) when it is closed/quit or when you exit Gnome. The old system-tray-applet was unmerge from the system prior to Gnome 2.2 install. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Close/Quit Notification Area applet 2. Exit Gnome when applet is running 3. Actual Results: Application "notification-area-applet" (process 2600) has crashed due to a fatal error. Foser, can we get a -r out with that patch, and arch masked ? I had this as well, but still working through my 200+ bugzilla mails, so dont know when or if I'll get to this =)
