Emerged KE 3.1 and font antialiasing seems broken. Changing settings in the
control panel doesn't change anything, nor in qtconfig. XFS is being started at
boot.

Gah, I am sorry. Updated QT and it works fine now. emerge -u world of course didn't pick it up since it is a dependancy, and I didn't notice myself until after this post. All works fine now.
