Well, that's the only 1.8 version in portage. I made the dep more specific for completion but that's probably not your problem.  What version of plib do you have installed?

Oops, youre right ;)

I had an older 1.8.3 version installed and then I unmerged tuxkart and tried to emerge supertuxkart and got the error.

Still it's good you made the dependency more speciffic, for cases like this.

The problem is solved on my end so this can be closed now.
