Created attachment 100080 [details] output of: emerge net-im/jabberd output of: emerge net-im/jabberd Error message is: configure: error: Couldn't find required libidn installation

I manually ran: emerge net-dns/libidn followed by emerge net-im/jabberd This worked OK. This is an ebuild dependency issue? ie the ebuild needs to depend on and build net-dns/libidn before trying to build net-im/jabberd?

Fixed, wait 30 minutes and sync. jabberd-1.4.4-r3 has now a dependency on libidn.
